Terms of Service
Last updated November 2, 2026
These terms apply when you install Menzen or sign in to it with your Discord account. If you don't agree with them, don't use Menzen.
The software
Menzen is free, open source software released under the GNU General Public License, version 3. The license covers copying, changing and sharing the code. These terms cover using Menzen with Discord.
Your responsibilities
- Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Your activity is shown on your Discord account, and you are responsible for what it shows, including any custom status and pictures you add.
- Follow the terms of the apps and services whose media you play.
- Menzen runs on jailbroken devices. Jailbreaking is your choice and your risk.
Not affiliated
Menzen is an independent project. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Discord Inc., Apple Inc., or any of the apps and services it shows. Their names, icons and artwork belong to their owners and are shown only to describe what is playing.
No warranty
Menzen is provided as is, without any warranty, as the GPLv3 states. It may stop working when Discord, iOS or an app changes, and it may show the wrong thing or nothing at all. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any damage or loss from using it, including problems with your device or your Discord account.
Access
You can stop using Menzen at any time by signing out, removing it under Authorized Apps in Discord, or uninstalling it. Discord may limit or end Menzen's access to its services.
Changes
These terms may change. The new version will be posted on this page with a new date, and the history of every change is in the GitHub repository.
